Rowan Fricks is a main character in the first, second, and third seasons of the AwesomenessTV drama series t@gged. She is best friends with Hailey Jensen and Elisia Brown, and she dated Jake Brown. Rowan is a student at Hilland High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in the United States.

Rowan is a very beautiful young woman with olive skin, hazel eyes, and long, dark, and wavy hair. Initially she dressed in an alternative style, favouring crop tops or graphic t-shirts in dark colors, paired with skinny jeans and flat loafers. She wore a silver necklace with an infinity pendant that was her mothers, until this necklace is replaced by a silver chain with one of Nicki Sullivan's turquoise earrings to symbolize the change that the recent suicides caused in her life. Later, she cuts her hair to above shoulder length and began dressing in more classic clothing rather than her usual alternative style.
Personality[]
Rowan is introverted, curious, and inquisitive. Once something has caught her interest, she will not let it go until she has figured it out; her best friend Hailey Jensen describes her as "intense" for this reason. She has a tendency to obsess over current events as a way of avoiding confronting powerful emotions such as fear or guilt, as evidenced by the way she tried to find out Hailey and Elisia's secrets to avoid confronting the truth about her own secret-- her relationship with Jake. These aspects of her personality can also sometimes make her rather judgmental, but this is a flaw she acknowledges in herself and tries to work on in the later seasons.
At the beginning of the series, she dealing with the aftermath of her mother's affairs, which have led to her parents' divorce and a choice between which parent with whom she will live; she admitted to choosing her father over her mother because she was so disappointed in the latter that she could barely look at her. As a result of this life change, Rowan struggled to trust anyone, believing that they would eventually leave her, and seemed to isolate herself from others as a way to protect herself from loss. Throughout the season, Rowan began opening up more to the people around her, becoming extremely close with Hailey and Elisia Brown as the three bonded over their traumatic experiences being terrorized by Monkeyman.
One of Rowan's strongest personality traits is that she is extremely forgiving, which she attributes to her history of being bullied throughout school. The entire series has a running chain of people who wronged Rowan in the past and yet with whom she became very close by the end of the third season, beginning with reconnecting with Hailey after she became popular, and moving on to her former bullies Nicki Sullivan, Brandon Darrow, and Trevor Askill, the latter of whom actually became her stepbrother when his father eloped with her mother. This mainly occurred in the second and third seasons, coinciding with the fact that Rowan had become a more trusting person who espoused a more "kill them with kindness"-way of interacting with her peers.
Rowan is passionate and will do anything it takes to protect her loved ones, even if it puts herself in harms way. This passion tends to sometimes skirt into impulsiveness and a quick temper, reacting without thinking when scared or confused, such as when she immediately assumed Jake Brown was Monkeyman when she saw him with the mask and had him arrested before even getting to hear his explanation, or when she told her father she believed her sister Brie was using drugs again without first discussing it with her. This trait is also born from her trust issues, as she initially tended to assume people would hurt her and would blame herself for letting down her guard.
In general, Rowan is creative and artistic with an obvious passion for photography, as her social media is full of artsy photos of anything that catches her eye.
